Diana Kardia, Ph.D.
Biography
Diana Kardia, Ph.D. is co-presenter of Game Change Academies and is co-owner of Kardia Group, a consulting group that identifies personnel and process solutions for clients in academia and higher education.
A nationally recognized expert on organizational change and leadership development in academia, Dr. Kardia has worked as an independent consultant for over 25 years, identifying solutions to academic institutions and faculty careers, including leadership, climate and diversity, academic culture, departmental dynamics and faculty transitions, as well as the ever-changing faces of academia and related institutions.
Dr. Kardia has taught and conducted research in the fields of statistics, psychology, education and women’s studies and has served in staff and upper administration roles in higher education. Dr. Kardia also has vast experience with individual coaching of higher education faculty members, taking a translational approach to coaching, applying research and experience across several fields to the specific goals, dilemmas and developmental opportunities of the client.
Dr. Kardia earned her Ph.D. in 1996 in Education from the University of Michigan. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts degree in Statistics from the University of Michigan. Dr. Kardia is certified in the use of the CPI 260® assessment and certified-by-degree in interpreting the MBTI® assessment.
